John Shortsleeves is the President of Standard Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning. Having come here with 25 years of experience in the industry, he has been our fearless leader since 2000.
John was born in Glen Falls, New York. As a self-described Air-Force brat, John has lived all over the world, even attending high school in Okinawa, Japan. After spending 9 years living in Japan, he went on to receive licenses and certifications for Master Mechanical, Master Plumber and Cross-Connection/Backflow.
Outside of working hard to ensure Standard continues to provide only high-quality work, John loves to travel. He’s been to Jamaica 16 times! He’s also quite the foodie who loves to cook and also enjoys such unique activities as scuba-diving when he gets the chance.
