Standard Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning is a proud sponsor to several great local organizations, including Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters serving Riley, Geary and Pottawotamie Counties. Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters (KSBBBS) matches children facing adversity with caring, adult volunteers.
This past spring, Standard was a hole sponsor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters golf tournament. It was their 4th Annual Golf for Kids’ Sake Event. This fundraising golf tournament happened on April 21st at Colbert Hills. It featured a 4-person scramble for $125/golfer or $500 a team. As the local BBBS stated: “It’s a great day on the green and opportunity to raise funds for our Riley County youth.”
Standard Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning was a Birdie Sponsor, joining with more than a dozen other Manhattan area businesses working to support such a great local organization.
Big Brothers Big Sisters
Big Brothers Big Sisters is a wonderful organization that has improved the lives of children across the country since 1904. They believe that every child has incredible potential.
Big Brothers Big Sisters makes matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”). Their efforts work to create positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on young people here in the Manhattan area and in cities across the United States.
